FEEDBACKS ABOUT THE AIRLINE (1)

Brigitte Van Kessel

We had to change our flight to an earlier one due to a business commitment and paid an additional $350 to be able to fly out 2 days earlier. On the day of departure we were advised of a delay of 5 hours because of “runway issues” which meant arrival in the early hours in Auckland. Getting home by taxi instead of being picked up by family and a meeting 4 hours after getting home. Auckland office refused to pay any refund ad played it back to Air Vanuatu Port Vila, they again blamed the so-called runway issue and advised to get in touch with airport management. None of the two contacts bothered to reply, despite several enquiries. Bad, bad service. Won’t fly to Vanuatu any more as long as there is no competition. Sadly, Air New Zealand abolished this destination a few years ago.
